Like @EGGamer13 said you have the options just above the box you type in.

For a link you use this:

[link text](link url)

And the pictures are for this:


Sometimes I personally find the picture one does t always work so if it doesn’t try the URL in the link one instead :)

There's like a portrait icon, next to the chain icon. Firsty you need to upload the image to a site like imgur or gyazo, then you taken the img irl and then you put it with that icon.
