Small post, not much to say

Can we have the option to use our fists in combat when not holding a weapon?

I have a few ideas to balance this out in PVP.

How it would work
Whilst not holding an item, you could press a series of 2 buttons at once like (LB) + (RB) to enter a combat form where you could then start punching with your fists, and exit out of it by switching items.

Effects of Fist Fights
Getting hit by a punch would stun you, getting hit by a heavy punch (Holding Attack, possibly uppercut?) would temporarily disorient you for a fraction of a second. The punches would do about half the damage of the swords attacks, and swing at about the same speed, but there would be very little wait time on a missed punch; unlike he sword. Getting hit by multiple heavy attacks in succession could cause you to become nauseated like the effects of being drunk. Players would still have the same effect of getting hit by a sword (the small stun that locks you in place for a bit).

So whatcha guys think? A worthy addition? Waste of time? I’d love to discuss it in the comments!

This should be in the game already!!!
I said it so many times during alphas, and a defensive movement (take no damage) to break up defense like a shoulder push, or kick.

um yeah. this also need to allow crew friendly fire. there are some times I would like to give a hearty punch to a few of my friends.

I love the idea.
I can just imagine punching on with skeletons too. lol :o)

This is a cool idea and I would love fist fighting, even more, while drunk lol.
However, it would have to be careful with the balance issues.

A few issues of balance would be:
The Stuns - They can't be too good (long and frequent) otherwise people would use fists over swords all the time.
Damage and Swing Speed - it would also need to be appropriate (half is a good starting point as you said for damage)
