How long does the event last?
The event lasts for 3 weeks, with the final week ending on August 22nd,
The commendations for defeating specific ships are real-world time based, so you won't be able to get the ones you've missed, but others for things like sinking 50 ships, winning a battle in an alliance with the right sails and finishing the story quest line will be available to get until the end.
Great, we haven't been able to sink the 2 Crewsin the wilds, but i even haven't finished wandas quest, but will today.
We sunk one of two pirate ships, but then we weren't able to sink the second.
Any tips?
I read to board them and kill the Captain. We did, but he respawned.
Was hard to sunk them.

We sure just dont know the trick how to do it properly.It takes some practice but there's a couple of things I think you can do to make it a bit easier on yourself:
- Get powder kegs, and lots of em. Put them in your crows nest and use them on the Skeleton Ships.
- Have someone do full-time ship repairs.
- Get someone on their ship to either keep them from repairing or keep them from shooting you.
- Join an alliance

Powder Kegs of course, why haven't i think of it by myself?!
I'm / we're lazy Pirates only sailing the each other week or so and far away from becoming a legend.
But i/we try to get to become better and good.
Some Crews eat us like we were Sardines, but sometimes we aren't that bad, one of us has just join a few days ago and now we are happy brigantine Pirates.
We sure need to play more often and get used to some tactics, boarding and such.
