Another Developer Update video to peruse this week!

Executive Producer Joe Neate talks about the free upcoming Cursed Sails update and how the development team work in this exciting period leading up to launch.

Official Sea of Thieves Developer Update: July 26th 2018

Talking points from this weeks video include;

  • Close to Cursed Sails Launch
  • This weeks' build is mostly bug fixes with a few hints and teases at Cursed Sails
  • Possible price drop for shop items!
  • The Sunken Curse is over, with no event in the meantime.
  • Cursed Sails runs for three weeks with an event each week to take on. Replayability is key!
  • Watchable spectacle!
  • Brigantine - Crows nest has now been moved!
  • Further Ship Customisations are coming but not in this update.

Can't watch the video as I'm at work, but you said they moved the Crow's nest? So that means it's higher now and the back sail won't block it?

I think Joe knew that if they even have the slightest bit of downtime or tiniest of issues there are a small group of players out there that will not be happy, and the team don't want that to happen so we're happy to tell you that they have developers ready and working around the clock to deliver stability tweaks and bug fixes as they happen.

Am I the only one that took the main message coming out of this dev update that Cursed Sails is a buggy mess that basically all hands are on deck to try and fix so it doesn't crash next week when it goes live?
