My entry for the shark week contest! I might make more than one if that's allowed, but nothing will top this one!
My friend had fallen off the ship as we approached a fortress and he managed to grab the ladder as we passed, and as he climbed it he couldn't see behind him so all he said was:
"I think a shark just tried to bite me, did you guys see that?"
They cleared a path to reveal the Meg for the first time before sharking me in the back! We're gonna need a bigger boat!

Wish this forum would allow [spoiler] so that my post won't take up a ton of room, but oh well. Since I'm not exactly clear on what types of pics are allowed I figured I should add others in case memes aren't allowed.
Their demise captured. Inception style, screenshots within screenshots.
Just in case it has to be strictly screenshots.
Here is my dank submission
Me and my friend had a surprising Megalodon encounter, so I turned it into a meme compilation! Enjoy!
For my submission I'll be givin ye a story.
My name is Buck Luny, I'm the Captain of the HMS KnukkleBuck
't was the first time we met the hungering one also knowns as Meg of Megan...
See me and my maties were sailing the high seas deliverin' some good booty when we met this scruffy lad named Duke.
'e told us of a legendary bard named Merrick and said we'd find him on Shark Bait cove. Intregued by his tales we gave duke a drink and went off to said island.
Ere we met the legend himself. Merrick was a weird one, 'e told us of a huge beast beneath the waves and told us where to find 'er.
We sent my pet parrot with a message to another ship, the Fiery Lady over at another island. This beast was said to be huge and we needed help with this...
Merrick tought us a shanty that would lure the beast to us and we played it while sailing the edge of the known seas looking for the beast.
And then it happened, never in my life had I experienced such dread...
"Captain There's something underneath us... It's as big as the ship!" I heard the lookout yelling.
The sky darkened as a storm appeared out of nowhere, a dark omenous roar was heard as the beast burst from the waters! I remember thinking by myself: "What have we done?" But it was too late to go back. We feverishly raised all but the navigation sails and our sistership did the same.
My crew scrambled for the cannons and started shooting the beast but the waves were so high, we were barely able to hit it!
With a thundering roar the Hungering one threw itself at the Fiery Lady with lightning speed and crushed it's hull with a single bite. I was silenced by fear for a moment.
With the huge waves I wasnt able to see if the Firly Lady had made it, but nay, when the waves allowed me sight on her she was almost gone. The bowsprit was the last I saw of her and her crew hastened over. Some not making it and being eaten by sharks that came feasting on what scraps the Hungering one left uneaten.
It was just one ship against the Hungering one, our lookout was our saviour in this situation, as with the high waves and stormy weather we had barely any idea where the Hungering one would come from. We would often hear the calls for starboard or Port attacks and we in turn would give the beast a full taste of lead.
She got some bites in but we managed to keep the ship afloat. But then we heard the thing I dreaded hearing... "Sir we're out of wood, we can't fix her if we get hit again." We had to kill the beast and quick. Then one of the crew came with a solution. "Sir what about those gunpowder barrels we looted last night?" We had raided a fort last night and had aquired some explosives there. But would it be enough to defeat the Hungering one?
I agreed on the plan and we set it in motion, the crew quickly made a barrier or barrels around the ship. As the Hungering one circled us she didn't come close enough to a barrel to hit her, she then suddenly stopped circling us and I saw her mouth agape coming right for us..... Right past a barrel! I quickly grabbed my first mate and pointed to the barrel. "There give it your best shot."
The rifle fired..... time seemd to stop for a moment. This would be it... either we'd live to be heroes or we'd die here and be forgotten...
But we'd not be forgotten. The shot hit the barrel and the Hungering one was dead, she floated to the surface of the water. The crew was elated, we mourned the loss of our comrades and set out to tell Merrick the news.
I hope you enjoyed the retelling /slight romantisation of our first meg encounter as much as I liked writing it.
Cheers!

There once was a tale told by fearsome pirates who encountered a terrifying being who commanded the most deadliest sharks to his side to take down any vessel in sight, some say this is just a legend, some say this is just the pirate gods messing with us. But be wary travelers as this monster may strike you out of the blue and take you down to Davy Jones locker!
Try it without the image code, mate.
Dang it worked for a second.

Some say this is just a legend, some say this is a result in drinking to much grog. But no matter what it is be wary travelers as this creature could strike you out of the blue and take you down to Davy Jones locker! https://i.imgur.com/85cjXWS.png
And do you want to know what happened to the pirate who captured this rare moment, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM! https://i.imgur.com/thpiHxM.png
@lordvader1o1 awesome video Vader, the impression gives it authenticity.
Enjoyed ‘acting’ for this vid with the rest of the crew @PURERare &
@Kompositkriger. Deserves top spot in the comp in my opinion just for the fact it’s not a few screen shots or tales, it’s a full on documentary and so much effort and time put into creating it.
Kudos to you buddy and looking forward to the next one.
