<![CDATA[Commendation Decals]]>

One of the things I like about the event commendations is the artwork. The artwork for the gunpowder skeletons and this latest event commendations is amazing compared to the previous ones and got me thinking about how I would like to display these on my ship.

It would be something similar to what some high school and college football teams do on the helmets to recognize different feats.

Each commendation you unlock could be displayed on the hull of your ship. Of course, with the continuation of bi-weekly events this probably could be a bit overwhelming, so maybe it is just limited to legendary commendations.

Just thought it would be something easy to add an additional layer of customization to ships.

@hersheymanley lol, I actually have not seen your post yet. Might need to go browsing for it. I had thought of this the other night when I was browsing through the commendations for this event but forgot and then remembered on my lunch break today.

@foxdodge @Musicmee I would not mind either. I prefer customizing my ship more then my pirate and since I really like the latest commendation artwork, I figured it would be a great way to not let the devs effort go to waste. I would prefer them as actual rewards vs having to purchase them like almost every other skin in the game.

@musicmee I was thinking more of a one fits all type of deal, where you equip the sails and then pick the commendation you wish to appear on them.

@foxdodge I would love a sail for completing every Bilgerat Advernture challenge... another one of those you can say you were there things. And, sails would be better than a title because people can see them from much further away.

@galactic-geek Sure, I guess you could consider them "bumper stickers". Personally, I like to think of them as something cooler. Maybe like they did on old WWII airplanes, nothing too gaudy.

We all know they aren't going to give us this type of option for kills or anything like that, so why not commendations.
