I saw one earlier with spotted fins, quite a specimen

I kind of think they appear too frequently. I've seen 5 of them in two days. The experience is a little different each time but they don't feel so special now.

Definitely different sizes exist!

This big lad was one of those aggressive ones and took alot of bullets and cannonballs before succumbing to its wounds. A picture of the aftermath, with my mate @fids221 for size-comparison.

@iwolfeh Yes there are different sized, colored and behaved kind of megs now.

@bazrutuk that sounds about right, If you shoot at them they attack but if you keep on sailing you have a good chance to steer clear, its hard to beat the large ones in a sloop.

I know this is a little off topic but, until last night I had not been attacked by Meg at all since her reintroduction into the seas. Last night my crew was attacked by her 3 times lol.

I've seen the passive one, which I've mentioned before. That was a very vivid blue one and seemed content to swim around and follow the ship.

The other one I saw was a much paler one that attacked in the middle of a storm.

As far as I could tell, they were both the same size and the same model as THD Meg, just different colours.

@ch3f3nzo i think i have seen 4 different Megs since the end of THD. they vary in size and colour and all have a different character.

only the bright blue and the large blue/purple attach with out provocation the others circle and nudge the ship and will only attack if fired upon.

playing last night the bright blue chased us into shallow water the turned to follow a nother ship we had passed. it didnt attack normally but it did a sort of dolphin leap from the water which i wished i had videoed

@iWolfeh there are different sized Megalodons of various color and levels of aggression roaming the seas spawning randomly.

I saw a quite large Meg last night while slooping. Easily much larger than my ship. The coloration seemed new from the other Megs I've seen since HD.
