<![CDATA[Crest Text]]>

So i bet this has been talked about alot before, but the sign above the door of the galleon to have some kind of text, much like the shipwrecks of shipwrecks bay or how the normal shipwrecks have names.

As well as this, i was looking at concept art for the game and found some pictures of 'Ship's Crest' saying things like 'Fury of the Placeholders Text' and a message saying 'Its bad luck to launch a ship without a name, and so a ship's crest always has a pride of place above the door to the captain's quarters'. Just curious if there will ever be a way to edit that crest or if there is already a way how to and i'm just dumb.

@taaaamas Ahoy matey!

You are right this has been a much talked about feature in the past but hasn't been mentioned in a while. This will more than likely come with the delayed ship captaincy update which is all part of becoming a Pirate Legend and owning your own ship. Rather than what we have at the minute where we loan and share our ships for the duration of the session we are in.

I can't wait to be able to name my ship!

Hi,

currently there's no way to add a name to your ship. We're all hoping to get a chance to do that in some later update, but nothing's been officialy confirmed yet, as far as I know.
