@il-yusuke-li The first location merrik sends you is golden sands, talk to the fair redhead lady and she will give you the next clue

@chitownsace3 you need 5 people to summon the beast, you need all of you to play the instrument the beast responds to: the drums.
as for where I am not sure, perhaps anywhere so long as you play the instruments as 5?

Thank you so much for locking my post with hungering deep quest, mine was first and the biggest one, great job !
What you need to do1.Shark bait cove and talk to the guy in the southeast.
2.he gives you a speaking trumpet
3.go to the middle of the Island and find the book at the big Stone.Go to golden Sands outpost and talk to the bartender.
5.Go to L14. Merrick's shipwreck is there.
Tells you about another barmaid. T - something. In a Wild spott - Wild Seas outpost is Dagger Tooth.
Go to S16, Book will be close to Enter of underwater cave
Go back to Merrick -

Yep. Devils Ridge.
If you read all the diaries it tells you.Too bad you need 5 people. Solo players are fuuuurked.

@tagerung Definitely Devil's Ridge, because Infernal has hellish connotations.
It is also a way to name something you dislike or hate just want to get away from. So it could be discovery ridge.

Wait. Just checked and it isn't.
Devils Ridge is in T, U&V and 23 through 25.
Wouldnt take long to narrow down through trial and error. -

not only solo players, but all those people who had been toxic and griefing with theyr gallys every single day... no one will ever help them.

A friendly reminder:
"don´t attack sloops at Merrick or Devils Ridge with your Gally... Karma will be a bit**"Just had the situation that i arrived at Merrick for the last step and the 4 guys on the gally tried everything to sink me...
eventually i got that step finished and headed to Devils Ridge... and guess who was there... the same guys who couldn´t spawn the Hungering Deep and blamed the devs to be too carebear because they´re forced to work with others instead of pvp :D
