Chum bucket and harpoo

I had a shark try to e****e but I escaped. I then tried to kill it but it got away so I thought to myself "it would be cool to be able to lure sharks in for a fight."
There could be a chum bucket to use as bait for the sharks. They could be used against other pirates or maybe have a quest where you have to kill x ammount of sharks and skin them. In the open seas the chum bucket could even lure some of the bigger creatures. People could team up as fleets and try to lure the Kracken to its death.
I was also thinking a harpoon would be cool. Either a gun or just a harpoon pole that you can stab with or throw. It would make underwater battle easier if implemented and throwing it on land could be fun, especially if you can pick it up afterwards.
The harpoon could also be used for fishing, which of course could be a quest of its own.
