Ok, let's do the math

The moon is 385,000 km away from us. If we know that a galleon achieves a speed of 13 km / h, it would take 29 615 hours before we get there. That is 1 233 days. Now, at night the crew needs its rest so let's say that we only sail 12 hours a day and so it will take 2 466 days. On the other hand, we can only see the moon at night so it would be better if we sleep during the day. Anyway, in 8 years we are there.

The only problem is that we can only take 100 bananas (+ 5 for each crewmember)!

We will be long dead before we arrive...
