1. I thought Microsoft killed off the Kinect and discontinued it.

2. Placing spy cameras to watch customers will only show how easy it is to flip over the package and take a picture of the code.
   No purchase needed.
   Why is the code on the outside of the package? 😄

3. The promotion is still going on. Just got another code today.
   Sea Of Thieves Chips Ahoy bags are in stores.

Mondelez International May Use Microsoft Kinect to Track Your Snack Buying Habits

A new program called Smart Shelf, spearheaded by Mondelez International, may keep track of how customers in supermarkets and grocery stores react to certain products using a Kinect, Microsoft's motion tracking and facial recognition device.

It is kind of cool reading about these kind costumer tracking/marketing type stuff but also scary at the same time. I remember when some corporate marketing lady came into our office and started telling us about all the cool little tracking features they built into the company website and it was frightening to me.

That little picture of the SoT logo means you saw it, and bought it. This really adds nothing to the game at all. This is Nabiscos money now, not Microsoft's. Nabisco asked Rare to do this partnership, during the beginning hype of the game, to simply sell more cookies, so rare took a check and walked on. It's not a fundraiser, it's not like if they sold more cookies then rare could see more and more of that. This is advertising 101. It was a flat cost to sell cookies, and you MAY get a couple cosmetics that didn't work for most people? It's just marketing, and who better to sell cookies to? Children and gamers, who like to snack while playing. This is a short lived thing, I don't think either really deserve a.... Dare I say it?.... A cookie?.. for this? It could've just as easily been another company with another snack.
