Idea for the Kraken, so we all know the kraken needs to drop loot. I figured the tip of one of the tenticals would be ideal, its chest sizeish. I also figured it could ether be wild card item for any faction or it could be for merchent only, as the strong hold gives a unique item for gold and souls the merchants have nothing, spices dont count as they dont always spawn there nor are they unique. The tentical could have medicinal uses or cooking uses thus making it good for merchants. Sometimes more then one tentical could lose its tip, maybe in comparison to how many tenticals you fight off the ship when it grabs you. Though just one would be plenty as curently no one fights the kraken due to this fact its risk only with no reward. This would fix the kraken and merchants both, as curently there the only two things that we all as a group can agree we dislike.
Just The Tip
Also, the tip could ocasionaly leak ink. Somewhat like the chest of sorrow and fill your hull slightly. And the ink could attract the kraken back or another one and hanging off the ladder would not prevent this like with the chest of sorrow as the ink would leak into the sea and just make a trail back to your ship still calling a kraken to your ship. Also if the kraken that comes after you is summoned from the tip and not just a random one. Then you sould not be able to get another tip. Thus preventing people from exploting this.
