<![CDATA[Unable to install the game on PC?!]]>

Hello...
I can’t find a way to install the game on PC from my xbox one xbox game pass?!
When i load my account on my pc I can get other games from my xbox game pass (with « play anywhere » mention of course) but not SOT !
Microsoft store let me only install it on my xbox one or propose me to buy it !
I don’t get the mention « play on PC »?!?
Does anyone got this problem already ? Any solution ?

Nice of u to answer but i don’t even have the choice to download it on pc !
Crazy thing since i can download the other games from my xbox one game pass !

For myself I had to rely on the following for my PC installation on two of my PC's:

#1

  1. Download game and wait for it to error

REPLACE USER_NAME WITH YOUR LOCAL PC USERNAME

Go to C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

and delete all the files in there

  1. Reboot your PC.

  2. Attempt the download once more.

1.Bring up Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESCAPE)

2.Select the Services Tab

3.Find the Microsoft Store Installer

  1. Right click it and select Restart

  2. Notification will appear to state Sea of Thieves is ready to play

1.Download the content from the store, to the point where it fails at 99% / Install phase

  1. Open PowerShell and run run this command:

Add-AppXPackage -RegisterByFamilyName -MainPackage Microsoft.SeaofThieves_8wekyb3d8bbwe

  1. Click Retry in the store à This should now succeed
