• Why does every item have to be cosmetic on the game? I’ve made my pirate and ship look like how I want them too and now I have no need for all this gold haha.

Game is horizontal progression, cosmetics are the end game and the only reward. The fact that they pushed this so hard and all the cosmetics are all lousy recolors anyways is really s****y, everyone you run into looks the same, for a game thats based around cosmetics theyve done a VERY poor job

Agreed, they need to add new systems for getting cosmetics, something thats more rewarding instead of mindless grinding that anyone can get over time

• sometimes I can find pirates to battle sometimes I spend ours looking for them. Think there needs to be more people on the servers and a way to contact them.

6 ships to a server or 24 players to a server. Im all four for more chances to run into some PVP, but the carebear community will shut this down in an instant.
EDIT: Rare originally said in one of their videos during beta that you should run into a ship every 15-30 minutes... This is not true imo.

• The game desperately needs a chat feature that’s not templated. Can’t reply to anybody unless it’s pre written by the game.

Not sure how this could be implemented on xbox, xbox players have always been given a chatwheel or nothing at all. Mics are heavily recommended in this game anyways.

• Need more combos for battling with a sword and possibly more health.

Health is normal and fine (100hp), The combat system is fine, i really dont know how they could add anymore combos with the current controls too. They really just need to rework the whole combat system.

• How about figureheads that can do damage to other ships when you ram them?

This would take away equality of all players no matter their level, will never happen. plus you can already ram a ship and do plenty of dmg.

-rowing boats to get into land?

Ive always really wanted this on galleons or something

-Could we have cursed Mermaids to make the game more interesting?

Not sure what this would entail

-I Think mermaids should cost gold to use as the game is far too easy to get back on your ship, there’s no consequences to actions on the game

This would pretty much be the same thing as the death tax that was written off and frowned upon, will probably never see this.

• More ship types, Possible navy boats for when I steal other people’s Ships.
