so i recently bought a razer Tiamat 7.1 v2 headset
which is good and bad.
that bad being, in order to truly get the best sound possible, the game/audio needs to support 7.1, and in stereo mode, well a normal head set will beat it
BUT when a game does support 7.1 surround sound, my god it sounds sooo good.
wish i could use this headset to its fullest more... /sadface
its like have a 21:9 but not having many games that support it /crieseveytime
@moogle-mogg I've got a corsair headset that uses Dolby digital something to emulate the 7.1. Basically I can get 7.1 in anything and it's amazing.
I actually played SoT for about a week before I realised I didn't set up the sound properly. Amazed when I did!
@moogle-mogg Not to start a side argument but Surround sound headphones are the silliest gimmick ever sold. Small drivers are cheap 2 big drivers and semi-open or open design gives you surround sound and amazing sound on top.
I'm glad you like your headset and hope they work great but I have to state what I just did. I try to inform as many gamer's as possible that headphones can be used as headsets, they last forever, are multi-purpose, and give you the most amazing sound.
@senilegold yea im well aware of what they are, and that's why i got them, for the reason that i just wanted 7.1 surround in my headphones lol
i still have a really old but good headset, the razer kraken, and i also have a logitec 5.1 surround sound speakers for the pc around my room
i mean i really didn't need this headset haha, but meh, i wanted to see what the fuss was about, and again, i was fully aware of what i got into and im fine with it
