When 'Fullscreen' isn't in fact Full Screen.

  • Typically occurs either when I try flipping around too quickly or, most often the case, I'm using the equipment radial for something like bananas... the mouse appears and I am no longer in the game.

Yes, I have multiple monitors, and yes I've tried the alt/enter and UAC methods to resolve this... It's actually game breaking. Whether I'm trying to react to shadow skeletons and whip out the lantern... or I'm trying to get a banana out in a clutch PvP situation... ALL TOO OFTEN I'm left standing there like an idiot because the game suddenly relinquished cursor control back to the desktop. To be honest, I believe this issue is 100% out of your control because of the nature in which the game functions through Windows awful game shell. If that is the case, at least say so.

Nobody likes the cross-platform c**p that is being force fed down our throats (and that's coming from a PC player), but that is a discussion for (several) another thread... but things like the Radial for item selection (the keybind system is awful), page up / down for menus, etc. make this a terrible PC experience which is mindblowing to find myself saying because this game was absolutely jaw dropping to play the first few hours of play... but these otherwise minuscule issues just keep popping up and as they continue adding up with one another. It isn't the grind, I love the grind. It isn't the PvP / other players, that's my favorite part. It's when the otherwise incredibly immersive experiences are shattered, or memorable moments (like the 2 hour EPIC battle that was ruined, leading me here to make this thread) are trashed due to s**t you've been told and have done nothing about since the EARLIEST of player feedback.

I'm not here complaining about lack of content like 99% of the rest of this forum. I just want you to realize this is a PC game AND a console game, and forget this s****y hybrid model you've envisioned. We need different menus / keybinding options / sensitivity / graphic options / etc. /etc. / etc. than console. You're running a very "one size fits all" shop and nobody likes it.

Other than that, I bloody love the game.

  • Bananas are '3' in default keybinds. I've found using keyboard shortcuts much better than messing with the Radial Dial on PC. See if it works for you!
