<![CDATA[Idea to incentivize friendly pirate play!]]>

So here me out here, since RARE want to encourage friendly pirating as well as the PVP side, what if we introduced the idea of fleets?

How it might work would be you could add players to your “fleet” via a voting system (like how you vote for other things like voyages etc) and anyone in your fleet is treated as part of your crew. This includes getting money from loot, friendly fire not damaging them, and being able to help with voyages/forts etc.

This would also help folks that want to be a solo sloop but wants to feel easier about not getting wrecked (pun intended)

These players would be in your fleet until you voted them off, even if you log out of your session. (Obviously you’d only get the loot from skulls/chests while both logged in etc)

This would give an incentive to stick together and to create friendships and alliances while also allowing the pvp players to continue their rampage on the seas!

Expansion should be called Armada to be for One Man O War One galleon one frigate and one Sloop. Two teams of 20 say red versus blue all out PVP Armada battles. Instanced based. Possibly randomly-generated layout of islands although I think it would be cool just to use some of the islands that are already in the game but randomly positioned so that each round is a little different. Last team alive wins or team that controls certain Fort wins.

@the-dougalbug We split the loot evenly according to worth.
I also initiated the friendly meeting on another island..Instead of fighting with guns and swords we had an epic water bucket fight, and played music lol.

@th3-ch4dw1n this expands on the Xbox club idea because you don’t share loot/act like the same crew etc on Xbox clubs,

A fleet system would allow players to collaborate between crews, not just be one single crew!

Isn’t that what Xbox clubs are for? Also just give us Xbox players the choice to have our dedicated Xbox server or go on a mixed server
