The advantage of doing this is so you can aim easily while jumping.</p>
<p dir="auto">I suspect on the Xbox version of the game Jump is bound to something stupid, like one of the face buttons, forcing you to take your thumb off the right-stick; limiting your aiming.</p>
<p dir="auto">Give it a try if it's possible. You might find you enjoy bunny hopping around like a pro ;)</p>

And you are correct about where Rare binds the action.</p>
<p dir="auto">I play on Xbox1 with an Elite controller. The Elite gives me the option to re-bind actions however I choose. Plus I have extra buttons as well!</p>
