At the end of the day the first would of always been some guy boosting. It is the same in any game. I don't get why people are so butt hurt, it has literally no effect on your game at all! I think what he is doing is really lame but do you know what i do? I just don't watch his boring a*s stream.

Yup. Circumventing the respawn timer for a specific event by server hopping is the literal definition of an exploit.

I think it's hilarious that people are so upset for Prod1gyX abusing an exploit, yet they're cheering for SnipernamedG who abused a different exploit.

@hidrapond Butthurt that you can't do the same? He is a Sea of Thieves Jack Sparrow. He did nothing and have a treasure! What a shame that you need to work hard ;D

@ball-o-cheese no. He cheated in my opinion. If i had 20 crews working for me and I was able to game swap and literally just hand stuff in 100% of the time i would be legendary aswell. Also ive seen him play the game now and he sucks. He doesnt even know how to play. He was obviously boosted.

watching pirate legend stream and content seems very similiar to before pirate legend, some may even say far as it looks exactly the same as before.

@ball-o-cheese I only watched/viewed clips after the fact. He doesn't deserve it at all but whatever, I'll just keep grinding with my crew to be legend.

@moneymakinmike again that is also part of it... I dont know who the c**p this person is nor do i care who he is. Only reason i learned about him is b/c all the stupid complainers on the forums. I dont know him i dont watch him nor will i ever watch him... If you watched him then you only helped him by giving him views. I never called him a Pirate King so i dont know what the math you're talking about there

No game systems were abused, no cheats were used, there's nothing in the game you can "buy" commodity wise to speed things up like a third-party gold site in a different game. He just flexed social power, and people did him favours.

Impressed by what? The dude was handed chests like a baby is handed food on a spoon.
Jealous of? He couldn't even navigate to the tavern on an outpost. For someone whose supposedly farmed chests 16 hours everyday I'm very suprised that he couldn't find his way around the map.
No game systems were abused? I don't think the developers intended people to leave lobbies, and then join people as soon as they turn in treasure and rinse and repeat
Do I think he deserves to be shamed? definitely not, as most people would have joined lobbies for free gold etc. but I don't think people are jealous of him, rather, they are tired of flawed Ingame mechanics which allowed certain people shortcuts, taking away world first private legend from someone who was doing it legitimately :)

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. If you actually paid attention to the guy for a minute, you would see he is no pirate king. He barely knew how to play the game or even where/what the vanity chest was. His team and him quit when they were chased by a SLOOP L**O.

@logansdadtoo no no no you fail to understand the way the game is set up. Each SHIP is allotted a certain amount of people. The Crew is allowed to be as vast as you want. Take this in to consideration. Lets say you have 10 friends that play... What in the game is stopping you from having 2 galleons and a sloop?? imagine that 2 galleons and a sloop who are not enemies. They sail together helping one another doing missions to keep the other safe... There is NOTHING to stop you sure it'll take a bit of effort to get all on the same server maybe but thats the only hurdle you have.

So he has a Crew of 4000(ish). Obviously you can't have 4000 people on one server so in order to play with all your friends you server hop. Even if this game was large enough to have 4000+ people on a server the only difference here is he wouldnt of had to server hop he would have done even less work actually.

@loyal-kawasaki boosting is an exploit and ok have fun fighting 4 boats teamed up vs you...

@ball-o-cheese every time someone wants to find a new crew. Why should there be a limit? They aren't violating the rules.

Funny that, everyone else is allowed a crew of 4, that tool had a crew of about 4000!!

He plain and simple got boosted. Happens in every game and is not against the ToS. (Hello WoW and D3 every New Season.)

Did he earn it? Technically yes. He didn't work for it, but no where does it state he has to.

I'm not defending this dude, but just because you(general) don't like it, dosen't mean meanings of terms change.

With all that said, I still find it a pathetic way to become legend.
But whatever works for some people right? :)

@cheatingpirate im pretty sure it's crooked mast... I was hiding behind a rock from skeles with pistols and noticed theres a skeleton crushed under a rock. Might of been another island they start to blend together.

@cheatingpirate it's up to those who win the gold to decide how it's spent... The people of this streams decided they would spend it by giving it to him.

Im not saying hes a golden child im just tired of hearing people complain about him giving him even more fame.
