<![CDATA[Game won't launch (PC)]]>

Since launch I have been unable to play the game. Whenever I try to launch a grey screen comes up with splash art but it never actually progresses beyond that. I have tried all available fixes on the support page and have uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. The Support page mentioned to wait for a Windows update, and there was one last week but it fixed nothing, and today's update hasn't done anything either.

All other games work fine on my PC, I can't figure this out and only have a week left on my game pass to try the game. Does anyone else have this issue? Did today's patch fix it for you?

Any help is appreciated.

played beta and had minor problems as would be expected,
on launch day and then on still was having minor bugs, like no xp or gold for quests done all seemed to sort itself out over the weekend.

AND Then the update, yesterday...... no i cant get the game to install, i just receive an error code 0x80070005.

I have followed all the Microsoft fixes which includes a win 10 update to MCT and when that did not work a full reinstall of my operating system and still no dice.

@skivvy1337 I should add that I have tried the 4 solutions from the March 27 press release. Still won't load past gray splash screen.

I do think it might have something to do with my OS on an SSD and my games installed on a 2nd HDD. I think this game install borks up the folder access permissions in the Windowsapps folders and it can't access it's own files.

I knew I shouldn't have bought this game. I knew it.

@bannedmantis478 There was a resent 20 gig client update try reinstalling the game if you didn't get it or if it got corrupted somehow if you did update.
