So many times I get shot off my own boat by a boarder with a shotgun, really fustrating. Several times on land even while fighting people with guns after you run out of ammo, I can't get close enough with my sword because the knockback is so high I can't get back up to them before they reload. Anyone else feel the same about this?

The knock-back can be a pain in the stern even when you're shooting, your beautiful sniper shot punishes you because it knocks them 15m away into the water where you cant see them anymore, or how about a galleon pulling up by your tiny sloop and you get pistol shot not just off the helm but OFF YOUR WHOLE BOAT... not a cannon, a pistol, now your swimming and they can board your sloop at their leisure. Anecdotal or not I've Sailed with many MANY players who rage at the fact they got slingshot meters away from where they we're by a single shot.

It is easy enough to dodge shotguns and ESEPECIALLY snipers,

i have been in the same situations where i am out of ammo but my ememy has plenty,
as he is about to fire i will jump around and dodge like a man on fire, when he starts the reload process ATTACK, but keep moving and jumping as it helps a lot, just need to get used to it.

keep practising and im sure you will be able to avoid being blown back.

my advice to you would be to rememeber the 5 D's of pirating

Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge

Why should features you don't like be removed other people like them or adapt to them or dislike them without calling for their removal. Your only argument is it frustrates you so it should be removed?
