Relog and buying and dying have not fixed it for me yet :(

Same issue even when Solo.

Its a known bug, fixed sometime next week at the start of the week either buy something or relog.

This is an issue they have mentioned should be addressed in the patch (see: https://youtu.be/x0KiM8n7e0w )

As they mention in the video a current workaround is apparently to buy something at an outpost (hair, beard etc). I have had this issue and the workaround does fix it.

I start a solo game and the bug was away... :)
I hope that helps, for the other pirates with the problem.

i was getting this as well earlier

Same issue here. Weapon slot 2 is gray and I cannot equip anything there.

Replacing in slot 1 works but the game bugs out and thinks I've got two weapons equipped, both in slot one, but I can still only use one of them.

@br0k3nbeard I'm getting the same problem this needs to be addressed I've restarted, reinstalled, killed myself, tried putting weapons in the 1st slot, none of it all works.
