<![CDATA[Starter Treasure maps...]]>

Seems like every voyage I watched from the beta had more instruction to it, like a riddle or a landmark to search for? Starter voyages are just go dig around a general area for a while... Only played for a couple hours.

The X marks the spot maps - the X is exactly where the chest is. You can use landmarks to find the exact location of the chest.
Riddle maps - the clues lead you to exactly where the treasure is, not really much to say here except the the cues for the different parts of the riddle (e.g. lift your lantern at Y, play music at Z) don’t work sometimes, although this has been fixed somewhat.

@cdxx-kraken That's intended. More complex/longer quests will become available (including riddles) as you progress through the ranks.
