Had a great experience yesterday where me and some friends took on 5 separate galleons over the course of a few hours, three of which included a battle for supremacy of a skull fort. Got some great footage recorded and cant wait to hit the seas again. This game is so great, especially with great people!

Solo sail. Found the island after navigating through a major storm. Hit a reef and took on water. Bailed and patched. Found my island and fought off skells and dug up me treasure. Back to ship under fire by skells back on ship lost control of the wheel and hit a rock. Ship with major damage and skells firing so I took me chest and started to swim to the outpost. Thought I’d make it until the shark got me. Mermaid lighted the way but lost the chest.
So much funArrgh.

Fought off a couple of ships at a skellie fort and went home with all the goodies. Good times!
Btw, updated the OP with the Code of Conduct. Tired of ridicule because you aren't hardcore, or a girl, or whatever? Our CoC solves that bunch of bs and we act on it when we have to in order to ensure a good time is had by all

AOD's stance on adding a death penalty to the game:
If you want penalties for death, there are plenty of other games that offer that and weapon upgrade grinds, blah blah. It just ends up adding stress to a game whose number one draw is fun. If you lose an engagement and lose your loot, that is enough. Leave it be I says. Don't lose an ounce of the magic in this game

@aod-cerulius Ahoy there! I purchased the game on opening day and am now looking to join a respectable crew. (started with some solo stuff to get a feel for SoT). I played Battle Pirates for years with the "Lost Souls" alliance. We were generally one of the most respected alliances in the game. By reading your literature, etc, I believe AoD to be just as repectable. I'm a 50+ year old (just being REALLY kind to myself here! lol) who purchased this game just to have fun with it and not be a hardcore grinder type. Grew up in San Diego, (so really laid back) but now live in Vegas. I do have one question though. My SoT is on XBOX1. How do I adapt TeamSpeak to my XBOX????? I do have Teamspeak3 on my pc since that is what The Lost Souls used on BP. That is of course if there is even a way to use TS on XBOX 1. (can you tell I'm totally pc/game console illiterate??) lol
