Know when ta fold em.
Did a skelly fort last night. We were reall low on ammo to start it, but somehow we got thru the waves. Loot time!
We grabbed the high value stuff first of course. I had just boarded the ship holding a skull, when low and behold a galleon was bearing down on us at full sails with the wind!
"Back to the ship! Now now now! We gotta go!" We were prepared and ready to depart, but I held off as long as I could to allow my crew to rejoin the ship, but it was now or never.
Our sails dropped and we eased forward, picking up speed. Two of my crew were still on the island, but there was nothing I could do, but run. We had no cannon balls and no chance against the enemy ship.
The crew left behind did their best to hide treasure, but they were cut down. Back aboard ship, we skillfully opened the range until our pursuers gave up and returned to plunder the fort themselves.
We docked and sold, making around 7k gold. It wasn't everything, but we escaped certain doom and made a tidy profit.

Yeah this is a great way to get experience with the a couple of the company's and excellent for getting the gold needed to deck out yer ship an' character!

I've had a look at the page, great to see well run and structured clans exist in this day,
My issue is this, I am a long haul truck driver to trade and feel i may not be able to put the level of commitment in that is required (I can be on the road for 2 weeks at a time) and putting input in on a daily bases would not be achievable,
How would this stand with the Clan?

@mutt-mk Hey mutt, we have had similar cases in the past like your situation and you should be just fine and once you're in, I'm sure a recruitment officer can even explain further. My recommendation is to at least post on our forums just once before you're on the road again to avoid our inactivity checkups and everything should go as smooth as the high seas on a good day!
