PC Preferred/Xbox Possible (Mandatory Teamspeak Participation)Angels of Death: Sea of Thieves Division
So yer looking to throw yourself in with the lot of us in the Angels of Death are ya? Well ye be standing in the right tavern. Sailing across the vast open seas to the edge of the world and back, Angels of Death is a PC based gaming clan. We operate as an independent organization focused on the acquisition of massive amounts of booty! AOD's reputation on the high seas for overcoming the highest of waves is well earned from 18 years of prosperity and camaraderie. While we're all pirates, dastardly acts of exploitation and cheating will be met with the sharp end of a cutlass and bilge rats will be shown no quarter! Ruthlessness aside, the Angels of Death make excellent fleet partners and ship mates. We have the heftiest of purses, access to the many of the merchants across the seas, and routinely out sail our competitors in our collective pursuit of booty.
COMMUNICATION
We operate a TeamSpeak 3 server and have an exclusive AOD XBOX Club. Our crewmates hail from the four corners of the globe with varying levels of experience from beginners, just gaining their sea legs, to seasoned veterans that can drink anyone else under the table. This is a place where swashbucklers of equal wit and charm can sail together and landlubbers can hone their seafaring skills and become talented pirates in their own right. Members can make use of our growing library of useful information and resources located in our private forum.CODE OF CONDUCT
AOD is made up of gamers from all over the world that come from different backgrounds and are made up of men and women of all races, creeds, and preferences. In order to assure that our valued members can relax and enjoy themselves, we enforce a Code of Conduct that is designed to reduce drama and prevent humiliation and abuse. Violations of this code are dealt with appropriately. We are here to play games.SERVERS AND EVENTS
One of the best parts about sailing with AOD is that you’ll never sail alone. The open sea is a dangerous place, and you can be certain that when trouble finds ya, your clan mates will have your back. We meet at the tavern and play informally on a daily basis as a well oiled machine on the high seas.
AOD also conducts routine training as needed for a variety of topics, such as navigation, ship piloting, combat training, and other topics as requested by our mates. Every legendary pirate lord has to start somewhere, right?APPLY TO DIVISION

I'm hearing some clans, groups, or independent pirates are really hardcore in SoT. The only thing we're hardcore in is our passion for the game and having a good time. AOD is a self styled casual clan, especially within the SoT division. Just want to relax into merchant missions or shipwreck diving? Yup we do that. Wanna go crush a fort and swat away enemy interception? Haha! We do that too. We do it all, but why we do it is simply for the fun of it. No competitive squeaker salt here. Win or lose, it's all about a good time with your mates. Our numbers are strong and steadily growing! Captain Anvil and I cordially invite you to join our crew. Hope to see you aboard ship soon, matey!

I have been with AOD for years, and the one thing that has always kept me around is the commitment the leaderahip amd member have to the lowest Recruit that just joined to the creators of the group. They are willing to listen and hear everyone out amd keep a very transparent look at it all. When you agree to join everything is layed out in black and white and we are always looking to improve be it in the ways of adding games such as Sea of Thieves.
-
@aod-cerulius A'hoy Cap'n! I be with AoD SoT division but a few days, but I was with AoD Warcraft division for a while. The clan is amazing and never let a fellow Buccaneer be shark bait. So, let's all throw three sheets to wind, splice the mainbrace and pillage some booty!!!!

If your looking for a great gaming community then look no further than AOD. I've been with this clan for eight months now and had some of the best gaming experiences of my life. It's laid back, fun and the people are great. I've made some awesome friends I game with every day and it's great because that means no more searching for people to game with. I highly recommend checking us out! You won't be disappointed! Let's set sail!

Being a part of AOD has changed online gaming for me. Being in a group of other gamers that don't take anything too seriously and are in it to have fun, while still giving a platform for some healthy competition, guarantees a good time. If you're looking for a clan that has friendly, helpful members that's always up for a game or two with plenty of laughs, AOD is for you!
-
Ive been with AOD for 3 years this month. Some of my best moments since i started gaming 18ish years ago have been with this group right here in such short of time. With over 3000 active members and 20ish different games i can promise there arent any dull moments. These guys/gals have been around longer than ive been gaming theres a reason for that so with that being said... I personally think the best way for someone to experience something is for them todo it first hand so if your looking for a community to be apart of or a place to permanently call home like i was years ago i suggest you head on over and check us out. =-)
-
AOD is a pretty cool place, people here are super friendly and helpful. the teamspeak has people in it 24-7 so it doesn't matter what shift you work there is always someone on to go play and chill with. The mood is always on the up and up so you can rest assured, if work sucked, once you log in your day is only gonna get better!!! With all that being said, come join us, we'd love to have ya!
-

This here can sum up most anyone who has ever been apart of AOD (Angels of Death). The community at large, is well large, and are generally open-armed to those who wish to join it. There are certain restrictions tied to it, however this is due to the nature of gaming, gamers and policy ratings within the gaming community (M/T/E). AOD Will always be my home, with all the friends I have made, and I can't just abandon my shipmates. Those you play with you form a bond with, and those you play a lot with become family. Remember that, when you check out AOD you are looking at a large family of players moving past community to a whole new level of comradery.

Sailin' the high seas alone ain't no fun! Come join us in Clan AOD for all the plunderin' and booty a pirate can stand. Along the way there'll be shanties and grog, dancin' and singin', and fun of all sorts.

JOIN NOW!
Best gaming community there's to find! Friendly, open, but yet very serious in a good way. You get to hang around and just play to have fun, joke around, have a competition who can shoot themselves the longest. But also serious gaming. If you feel that you want one of those, or maybe both then do join!
And don't get scared off because it says 18+. If you are social, and can behave then try to join. I joined back in the day when I was 15. So send in applications and we'll read them through!
We'll meet on the seas!

I've been a member of AOD for 9 months now.
I was leery of joining a clan, mainly because of the clans that I had run into in the past that weren't the best of experiences. Angels of Death is nothing like the clans I've encountered before.
Friendly, helpful people that are great to game with. Great bunch of mates.
Arr!
Don't loot wha' I said that our clan be weak. We be fierce warriors t' those that choose t' battle us. 'n at th' end o' a hard fought battle, we wouldna be opposed t' havin' a cup o' grog wit' ye.Fair winds!

What about new players? Do you accept people new to the game> I got tired of getting stuck in the brig trying to learn?
Part of the reason we've been around so long is just that. We LOVE new players. You won't ever have to worry about being locked away in the brig because you're just learning how to play. We are here to guide you through every step of the game from the very basics needed to get your sea legs, from learning how to navigate the seas to being a captain of your very own galleon. We will have routine training for all of the above & if you need more personal 1 on 1 training we have that as well. There's a treasure trove of knowledge in our forums and a Teamspeak full of great people to help you out in any other ways you may need.
-
@aod-cerulius hi Cerulius, do you have many SoT EU players yet? I'm interested. Mature UK player, also interested in competitive play of other online fps. At the moment i do not see tbo SoT being league comp viable?! But who knows? Correct if you see different.
-
@cozyminotaur238
Competitive, sure. To become pirate legends, there can't be unlimited spots after all, you have to complete and become LEGENDARY!As for EU players, I'm certain we have a few within the division if not elsewhere within AOD. Our players come all over the world matey, not just stuck in one place. Never-the-less, you'll be able to find someone to play with at most times of the day or night.
-
@croyor-aod thanks for response Croyor. Im 44, but trust i have more than what it takes to be skilled. I believe in good communication and not just ability is the real key to success. Ive played fps league before and just looking at a fun way of getting back into it all again really. I will make an application and if im too old f**t, then i shall take myself in the direction its flowing lol!
-
@cozyminotaur238
If ye' be an old f**t, then it's a good one! We take the old with those of us in the younger blood (18+ community). So as soon as ye' get your papers sorted we'll see to it ye find the rest of the crew! -
@cozyminotaur238 Age is experience. We have TONS of members your age and older that are apart of our community. Your 100% right communication is key to success. We here in AOD believe that as well. I hope to see you around!
-
@church420710 Aye aye capn. To the deck with me, papers sorted, no discrepancy! Set the sails, and set to the sea. Ahah i pirate i shall be!
-
@church420710 yes thanks Church, i love comms :). I shall make an application and also hope to be sailing with you soon. All hours lol!
Off to do it now, damn, hope the questions aren't too hard ;)
