Just a crazy thought... I’d like to see a chest with legs that tries to escape from the ship sometimes.
If you don’t hold or pay attention to the chest, it runs away. What do you think?

Mimics are a universal creature used in games all the time. I'm thinking more like the captain chest could have the personality of Dark Souls mimics and castaway similar to the Don't Starve's Chester ( don't know if that's his name but it fits)

Yah let's add mimics to the game, that'll keep things interesting. And each chest type could have a different personality like the castaway chest follows you like a lost puppy while captain chests would be extremely aggressive and you have to play a lullaby to get it to calm down and sleep. Also Mimic pets could be a thing.

@thefarsz It would be the same principle of a Sorrow Chest. You have to bail the water everytime.
