Going to say this every time a thread like this pops up this game in its current state is not worth $60 save your money and get a game pass to play as a month is more than enough time right now for what the game has to offer.

@bryarx He is not talking about streaming it to the pc. He is talking about the PLay anywhere feature where you can buy the digital copy and play it both on the PC and the Xbox as 2 separate entities. Meaning you get a copy on your pc and you get a copy on your Xbox.

the physical version only works on the Xbox and you do not get a copy on the PC.

The game plays on your Xbox, you are simply remoting the game video and controller. This is not game anywhere, this is the game streaming feature so you while only in network with your actual Xbox can play your Xbox on win10 PC.

Yes you can, using the Xbox one play anywhere feature. You will have to have an Xbox one and a Windows 10 PC. Essentially you’ll be playing the game on your Xbox and streaming it to your PC screen.

@cpt-peach-beard I am referring to the 20% preorder discount applied to all physical games from Amazon and similarly the same discount applied for being a Gamers Club Unlocked member at Best Buy (20% discount on physical games).

If I was to be playing this game on Xbox it would only cost me $47.99 for the physical version. There is no way to get the 20% discount on digital versions so PC users are paying a premium (full price).

I'm not complaining though I'm more than happy paying 59.99 to be able to play this on PC.

@cpt-peach-beard Yea that's what I'm afraid the most. I have few friends in the US so they could probably buy it for me but if it's region locked I'm one sad pirate anyway.

@tutorialchimp sales tax is around % 7.25 in California. The game would cost around $64 BUT I don't think it's a good idea to purchase outside of your region without doing more investigating. If you buy the USA region branded game it may not work in the Czech Republic.

@ant-heuser-kush I live in Czech Republic. I've checked few states and the prices are a bit random. In Germany the game costs 70€ ($86) In United Kingdom £50 ($70) and in the USA it costs $60 but it says $60 without tax. I honestly have no idea how taxes work in USA but I doubt it's worth almost $30. I'm tempted to just preorder from US website but I'm a bit afraid their gonna r**e me with the taxes and I'm going to pay even more. Too bad they won't show how much you're going to pay until you actually pay it.

As others have said the retail box copy ONLY works on Xbox one, don’t make the mistake of buying a physical copy to use on your win 10 pc.

Also, you won’t find a discount for the digital version with play anywhere Xbox+win 10, either. PC users are paying a premium for the luxury of being able to play this game.

It’s a bit frustrating even with GCU from Best Buy you don’t get the 20% discount but as far as I’m concerned it’s worth every penny at full price.

you do need gold for xboxone though which is a slight pain, does mean however i wont get annoying fps drops
