Oh my god, it's cruel to bump this thread, i though there were a new Scale Test this weekend, please don't do this, my heart is fragile.

The wider experience was mentioned as being in an upcoming beta before it’s release in a few weeks.
Guess that means a beta in the next 14 Days.
Also I guess if any other stress test is needed that would happen in the next 7 days

Anyone else cant start the game anymore? It instantly closes right after Splash Screen.
I already googled this error, but neither reinstalling hub fixed it nor anything else there. Is it just closing for everyone because of servers being offline?

Do you provide any information as to what was tested during the scale test? Ie its stated its about gauging server load but we noticed a few other things, for example:

• No bottles on islands
• No chest appearing on screen when turned in to faction
• No island name appearing when approaching an island
• No cost for treasure maps, it was limited to just 1 purchase of a map.
  etc, there was several other things we noticed. I guess I understand functionality may be altered during the scale test as well, just keen to know how these changes helped with the scale testing? Ie would the real game have these things disappear when the servers are at capacity for example?

@roughleech03117 Seems like a scale test would only make sense ON the weekends, when most people can play. It is a scale test afterall.

@el-espectro-0 can we have more tests but not on the weekend please i want to play but i cant on the weekends

We do plan on running another beta closer to the launch of the game, where players will get a taste of the wider Sea of Thieves experience, but for now our focus is on our scale testing plans. We will have more to share on that as we get closer to launch.
