@hiccupingdragon Those are just Skeletons. As for the big camps there, it's just stuff that's not fully implemented.

They'll be used in the full game. They'll be much like the Forts.

@lizalaroo @The-Lion-Turtle What i mean is that you will pass by an island that shoots cannons at you but when you arrive there is a huge empty enemy camp...

@hiccupingdragon Aye ‘tis true there are no skellies to relieve you of your treasure but that might not be the case for some robbing pirate! As you approach an outpost always look for mermaids as seeing one without smoke be a sign thar be pirates hiding there, or the mast of a ship, another dead giveaway.

Do you mean the outpost islands where the vendors and tavern are or are you referring to the islands with cannons on them? If it's the latter those are Forts. Also most larger islands have cannons that Skeletons shoot with while you pass the island.

@hiccupingdragon you're thinking of outposts the wrong way my friend; they're meant to be a social hub of sorts or a place to buy treasure maps and shop for items. It's reassuring to most when you know that there's an island that won't have any dangers on it, I'd personally hate to be ganked by a group of skeletons whilst I was turning my chest in or trying to buy something from the shop. You'll also find that outposts have the most loot out of all of the islands because there are barrels scattered around everywhere; if you went to an outpost and there wasn't anything there, it's most likely because someone was there before you. As far as getting shot at from an outpost, my best bet is that there was another pirate there who fled when you came in to shore.
