Sea of Thieves BETA not Starting?
@professorp0und Rare does care about their player base 100%. They are working on the issues as we speak. Problems take time to find and resolve and Rare is currently doing so, once they have an update they will provide one.
Games have issues, if you've ever heard of a game called Call of Duty or Destiny you will know all to well that issues happen, even at launch. This is the purpose of a Beta test, to find these issues now, so they do not happen at launch.
@professorp0und i disagree, just because you havent gotten in to the beta yet doesnt mean they dont care about the players.
beta's are filled with bugs, errors & glitches the point of a beta test is to help the dev's find those errors so they can hopefully get fixed for release.
the fact that they are working on the issue is good to know now a company that didnt care about their beta or their players wouldnt have bothered to invesigate the problem while people cry on the forums.
have some patience, go for a nap or do something abit more productive and come back later
@dhg-ixxrmacxxi no its been hours an if they actually cared the players who are getting screwed would also get something for our troubles which 100% we wont

@professorp0und I am sorry that you feel that way mate. Once the issues are fixed you will have the opportunity to play the game nearly 2 months before release at no cost (unless you pre-ordered via gift card or in store) to yourself. Beta tests are not a right, they are a privilege.
@munkypox i think your forgetting its a beta ;), and problems are to be expected, if it was the official launch then itwould be a different story
I’ve also spoken with Microsoft and they said the same thing as someone previously stated: the client is set to go live at 12pm. Also, like a previous comment I tried to explain timezones, to no avail.
If we are able to play at 12pm here (EST) and then Rare makes a statement about the issue being resolved, I will be somewhat disappointed in them.
@dhg-ixxrmacxxi reminding me that it's nearly 2 months until release is a strange way to kick me when I'm down. Well done.

I wasn't comparing to destiny, I was just using them as examples that even multi million/billion dollar franchises have had issues in the past. This game is a completely new IP so it's bound to have some issues at the Beta stage. The team has been working hard all day to help get everything fixed and work on helping the community.

Then it becomes a -right- not a privilage. This is a service we were advertised and are paying for.

@dhg-ixxrmacxxi I did preorder an like I started previously I took the day off of work got up early so I could play this, I work a (Mod Edited) 100 hours a week every single week so unlike the rest of you I wont be able to play later or another time, think before you start try explaining (Mod Edited) to people because you don't understand there situation
