biggest nightmare for xbox players pc is dominating this game, why Microsoft did this i have no clue but there is major advantages being exploited fps mouse speed and accuracy laggy gun fights it's really bad for normal average players on console being r***d by guys on pc. today my team and I could not get off the outpost because these pc guys wouldn't stop hunting us down, and just constantly bombarding us with the most accurate Cannonball barrage ive ever seen kept knocking us off the wheel, it's been good until I noticed the advantages pc has over xbox, especially xbox day one and the s, but pc is fast at everything. it was horrible

Same here, just bought the game and cannot play. Sea of Thieves Closed Beta installed. Any help?

No it doesn't, it says "sorry but the alpha session is now. ....
I press "A" to continue but it takes me back to the first screen again and after I try to enter gives me the same message.

Ok, im on the windows store, im on sea of thieves closed beta, i click on it and hit play nothing happens and it says you're too early. I have already dled it yesterday.

I found that when I tried to play the "closed beta" it took me to the alpha as well. I shut down and restarted a couple of times to, there was no updates either. Gave up trying to play tonight. hopefully there is a solution soon. ;(

@musicmee Like for instance, im pretty sure i installed the right thing becuase it says Sea of closed beta on the store here, but i hit play and nothing happens.

This is what it tells me and im not seeing it in the library. I preordered it from the microsoft store.

@talonwren You are launching the wrong version of the game there matey! There should be a closed beta of the game available to you too! You may need to download it from the store...

Love how were all waiting in anticipation for the beta to begin. Get your game ready for the second it turns 12.

It will remain as alpha on the splash screen, however, don't worry you are playing in the closed beta!

Unless they hotfix it I assume it will still read Alpha upon launch shortly. I see the same thing.
