@ssjvegeta420 You are going about this in a very sour way it clearly states "We're excited to talk about the Closed Beta in more detail in early 2018. Until then, allow us to tempt you with the Sea of Thieves pre-order bundle – available now!".

To me that means you will probly get a new email before the beta starts with a code and information on how to access it.

Simply being an 'Insider' does not guarantee access to the Closed Beta. You have to have been an Insider before a set date. Your account does not show as Insider and only appears to have been activated a few days ago.

Example, I am an Insider as made present by the 'insider' within on my post. This alone did not get me access to the closed beta because I just recently joined. I did just pre-order the game off of marketplace to grant me access to the closed beta.

I also receive the email today about pre-ordering the game in order to gain access to the closed beta but as previous comments have already pointed out, this appears to be a spam notice to everyone and does not represent a official notice of invite to the closed beta.

YEAHi am upset because im being told be people on here that im apparently not apart of the insider program and that i now dont have beta access.... when you have been hyping a game and telling all your friends about the game convincing them to preorder, making youtube videos supporting it etc and then your told it was all a mistake or a lie.... yeah i would be upset and so would alot of others in my position...

I got the emails and i DID SIGN UP BEFORE THE FIRST AND I AM A INSIDER.... ..

Taking that email as a mistake is so upsetting.. its like recieving an email saying you won a million bucks .. i go on the forums asking about this and they say.. sorry dude that was a mistake

@ssjvegeta420 You strike me as the type of gamer that joins a beta thinking its the full game and then trys to soil the reputation when you get dissapointed by something simple... like an email mix up...

yes i did sign up for the insider program. I also have an email saying thanks for being apart of the insider program and we will give you FREE BETA ACCESS ! I would attach the email as proof but i use mobile and the forums wont allow me to attach anything

wow you whine a lot, its not even for another week or two so rare still has time to figure this out. And in the first place this isn't even where you should be posting this problem and as the person before me said you have to be in alpha to have access to the beta for free.

@ssjvegeta420 why are you freaking out you have not even signed up for the insider program. You are not a founder or a pioneer. If you did not sign up for insider Program before December 1st or play in the technical alpha. Then the only way for you to get into the closed beta is by preordering.

Oh i am FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW... i have the email promising me FREE BETA ACCESS .. i use my cellphone.. can you give me a support email i can forward my free access as proof

@ssjvegeta420 don't panic to much just raise a ticket and I'm sure they will do all they can to help.

There's probably thousands of people getting excited for the beta and no doubt has raised a lot of issues, they will make the rounds I'm sure.

@ssjvegeta420 neither this Gamertag or “royalbraclet9” appear to have been signed up prior to December 1st 2017 in order to get access to the Beta. Rare would not have assigned random gamertags, it would have been assigned if you signed up with an email that was not associated with a Microsoft Gamertag.

@ssjvegeta420 Im quit sure the email we all got was just a spam email to get more preorders and not an actual beta access. Its a miss leading title, that is all.

About preordering the game just now....

MY NAME IS NOT ROYALBRACELET9
ITS SSJVEGETA420 and when i originally signed up it was with my account.... it arbitrarily gave me royal bracelet9 as my name on here initially but it changed to my normal name.....

I SURE (Mod Edited) HOPE rare didnt screw me by generating a new xbox live account and give beta access to it instead of my real account which was the one i signed up with to be an insider..

I really love sea of thieves from what ive seen and i HAVe been so excited to be teased with a closed beta invite... ive told all my friends about this and now it seems the beta invite was in error or a lie

What is going on.... i really nred to contact support with this issue and im hoping they can fix it for me..
