John Has the right idea lol. Like I said, not saying it’s a bad idea to have a huge crew unite but the core game just doesn’t allow for that. You would basically need to rereate a huge portion of the core gameplay. Which is why I wouldn’t mind an arena mode implemented within the game where you could do all that. But to havearge fleets become part of the core game mode? Well look at it from how others might play fleets, things could go down hill pretty quickly, including the single player component.

I've never heard of this ... thing, concousness of consumers? seriously though never expected to hear from anyone. This is why i appreciate this game so much even if there are no fleets ... its a tough break and something it'll take me a bit to get used to but hey, now you need a billigual politician on the ship to build a fleet or hope for an alliance haha which is an adventure on its own, just gotta do it the long way HAHA #UnitetheServer
