What am I doing wrong? Gif related

So I keep posting gif links in the image thing here  so the gif url where the (image url) field is. But the gif never seems to appear for me. Am i being stupid?

@syrio-forel when you press the picture button and then put the image gif url where the “words” image url are in ( ) like

@syrio-forel on mobile it can be more difficult. It may take a while for the gif to load for you. You also want to be sure that the image URL is actually for the gif itself, not for an album or gallery page that contains the gif. Giphy and imgur are frustrating on mobile because they link you to a gallery rather than directly to the image URL. On a desktop browser you have a comment preview box to the right. If you don't see the gif in that box, something is wrong with the URL.
