To all of those who work/worked on a Holiday...

@siriondb I'll be working 6:30 pm to 6:30 am new year's Eve. I've missed a lot of holidays due to work, but you have to take care of your family somehow.

While many years ago, I remember very well “working” all through the holidays. But that was with the 3rd Infantry Division. To all those who have, or are having to “work” in such a manner through the holidays my respect and eternal thanks. That includes all you first responders...you are indeed our country’s finest. Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year.

I've had the honor of working a 24hr shift on Thanksgiving, today(Christmas), and I'll be doing it again on New Years Eve. Sometimes it's a little disappointing to miss out on memories with family but, if I wasn't here someone else would be missing out! So thanks to all the others out there like me who sacrifice their time from their family to keep others safe you are the real heroes!

Yeah we work every Holiday... The owners are Hindi.... And we are Pagans.
So we don't follow the Christian calendar.
Our holidays are always a few days before or after the Christian holidays....or weeks long lol.
Should learn the Hindu beliefs more, they seem to have a Holiday celebration every month lol.
Eh... Not that the boss will ever give us a day off anyways. We work seven days a week.Just have to drink on the job we guess ROFL.
