<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Smuggler&#x27;s Run Voyage Enhancement]]></title><description><![CDATA[<html><head></head><body><p dir="auto">So I was wrapping up my commendations for the Smuggler's league and remembered why I never bothered finishing them in the first place; it's an incredibly boring loop. It got me thinking of the olden days of voyaging in SOT.</p>
<p dir="auto">Why do the Smuggler's Routes need to be just one route for that timeframe? It's literally just A to B, then B to A, then A to B, then B to A. There's no real exploration or voyaging.</p>
<p dir="auto">So my idea is to make them a multi-chapter voyage including more of (or all of) the turn-in spots, and then have the final route be the BIG payoff.</p>
<p dir="auto">Chapter 1 might take you from Plunder Valley to Crescent. Chapter 2 might take you from Crescent to Smuggler's Bay. Chapter 3 might take you from Smuggler's Bay to Old Faithful. Then the final chapter would be incredibly lucrative and be whatever the current map-labeled golden route is.</p>
<p dir="auto">It's still not the most exciting gameplay, but at least it gets you engaged with more of the map like the old days of voyaging.</p>

Always thought it would be good as an addition to all World Events to track down a Stash  - a bottle quest dropped and follow clues.</p>
<p dir="auto">Lost Shipment style voyage for the Smugglers (merchant reskin) would be more interesting then the reskin we got - package delivery.</p>

Instead, it needs more variations.</p>
<p dir="auto">Maybe one voyage has you locate a shipwreck and bringing the cargo back. The next one, you need to raid a sea fort and pull a painting off the wall and some rum from the cellar. Maybe even hijacking loot from the current active world event somehow.</p>
<p dir="auto">The Merchants already do the NPC to NPC deliveries. Smugglers should be something different and fun. This does kind of kill the golden route marker, but I don't think that's much of a loss.</p>
