<![CDATA[Maiden Voyage BUG - Pirate Lord's Journals commendation (Old Sailor Isle)]]>

Ahoy,

After a long time (1,5 years) i have logged in just for fun. Started the Maiden Voyage just to get the feels for the good ol game :) and encountered the following bug.

You can not complete the Pirate Lord's Journals commendation due to a glitch that occurs when wanting to get the one in the crows nest alt text
When you get to the top of the ladder alt text the character is teleported back to bottom alt text and clips into the upper deck of the ship alt text.
Tried to get there in alternative ways (harpoon gun, cannon, harpoon from ship and walking the line) but due to "world restrictions" it is impossible. The cause could be the restricted moving area that the player characters are in.
This BUG occurs in the Insider client too.

Summary:
Steps to trigger this bug:
Climbing the mast to get to the crows nest when reaching the top of the ladder and the off mounting animation starts the bug occurs
What currently happens:
Teleportation to the bottom of the mast and clipping into the upper deck (see screenshots)
What should happen:
Character should unmount the ladder and be able to move to the crows nest and walk around reaching the journal.

I hope this bug gets fixed so newcomers who want to get all the commendations can get them during the session. Can be quiet demotivating for new players imo.

I am totally new to the game and came here hoping to find a fix for this as I've experienced the same.

After hours of trying different things thinking I'd misunderstood the game I understand now this is a game bug that needs fixing and from reading comments about other bugs it probably will remain unfixed.

Definitely not a great start when the tutorial bugs out when your only 5mins into the game! If you give up completing it and just persevere through there are so many more bugs in this game at every level.

Sadly since I have encountered so many other bugs in the game it makes it unplayable.

Pleased I only paid the discounted £17 for it while on sale, had I paid any more I'd be pretty pea'd off as it does feel like this game is unfinished and perhaps should not be sold as playable when it isn't.

Massive disappointment as the concept for the game is awesome.
