Would it be possible to have the loot (least the flags) put on board the winning ship by the end so stuff like this doesn't happen?

@burnbacon not talking about ships that sink in the early stages of the the battle. I have have had most battles end in the portal area. If you wait for flags to float up you get swept away. You have to get out of the portal area immediately then swing around try to get the last couple flags or more if they had picked them up. I have been swept away just approaching the portal to harpoon them.

@thamb0 When you win just drop your sails get out of the portal area your ship is auto repaired then try to pick up flags before it sends you off.

@ribeyerare2820 came here to say the same thing. So annoyed at multiple wins but still not getting a flag cuz the portal teleports me out before I can get a flag, since I'm normally reppin my ship at the end.

idk why players struggle with this, it been a thing since harpoons were introduced. Unless the hourglass only players have no clue they could do this.

Huh, didn't a lot of people explained to you, some giving the simple version too on why this doesn't work in another similar thread?

You sure you're alright? constant forgetfulness can be an underlying sign of something bad, and being able to diagnose it early and treating them can be a life-changer.

Also, just to help you remember things:

• If player ship next to portal when enemy ship dies, player ship gets teleported first before enemy ship flag pops out
• Enemy ship flag out of bound - impossible
• Enemy ship no flying bird up top - hard to see
• Enemy ship no last long - last 2-3 minute before sinking
• Enemy ship next to portal - impossible
• Only reason you can get flag specifically is because you play as a rat - you don't play and steal flag when enemy ship sinks then complain that game mode not fun and dead. of course no fun if not playing.

@burnbacon If you win in the final circle the flag of the other ship is available for maybe a couple of seconds before you are booted out by the portal, it was just a bad design.
