@burnbacon that’s not even close to true. A majority of the player base is returning players. New players try the game for a week and stop.

They are absolutely aware, that there is a huge lack of interesting cosmetics within the game. Not only because they have been told via player feedback certainly a million times by now. Be assured, it’s part of their business model. Releasing fancy emporium cosmetics while putting some recoloured ship sets into outpost shops every now and then doesn’t happen by accident. They simply want you to pay for stuff (which is absolutely fine … to a certain degree).

Long story short: they won’t change anything, that’s for sure.

out of the 100 tiers 43 alone are gold which is the most useless currency for expereinced players

and there really isnt that many expereinced players mind you. :P
So Gold is still very much loved, and who knows what they play for Gold in the future...you may need bigger pool than a simple billion.
