Hi so. I have a friendly request which could make sea of thieves better :) it’s one of my favourite games of all time but it really really hurts my play experience when this happens: so basically me and my friend had alot of loot and we were heading to the outpost to sell our stuff. then we were attacked by the kraken…ship sank and we lost all our stuff… But i managed to remember where we sank so we could quickly sail back and retrieve our stuff. 1) it spawns us really really far away. and 2) we find out through research we only have 5-10 minutesi to get our loot back…anyways so we get there and yeah…our loot has despawned. but not our recourse barrels. so we know it was absolutely where we died. it just sucks. we had a lot of good loot. My feedback is…i think it would be great if you could up the despawn time window…so that instead of 5-10 minutes maybe it’s 15 minutes? This would be a massive help 😁I’d really appreciate it if you considered this change.

Same thing happened with a COF.

It seems the loot float time is insane now. I had a Meg hunt and orb of secrets and had to rely swim it all to shore as the loot would sink by the time I swam one piece in. This was like 100m from shore

Rowboats will despawn loot off of them if you get too far away, even if its docked. I've tried that before and I almost always go back to the rowboat with like 30% of the loot I left on it. Obviously it wasn't taken by someone else because some of it is still there.

It's one I agree with because I have also been affected by it.

You need to take out 2 or 3 tentacles, just go below deck when they do the sucking animation and you should be fine.

It causes overall poor server performance for loot to stick around too long. As someone suggested above, if you have a crewmate then leave them behind to “juggle” the loot (pick up and drop each piece to reset the timer for each) or try to keep a rowboat on your ship.

Wait. After being sunk, You spawn far? Like how far? Because I’ve heard nobody spend far enough away. This unheard of

Rowboats are you friend and since you had a crew. Leave someone behind without spawning to ship to keep stuff in the water a float.
