I think this event is broken I have been on all day and have yet to see one ship. And all the “partners” are blocking the six pack to a paywall to their channels. This is HIGHLY disappointing and as someone who is obsessed with the obsidian items I find this very unfair to the average player like myself.
Must be an easier way to find ships with generous sails on them
I wouldn't invest the time. This is the worst design for the random consumer that they have had for the pack. It's a LOT of randomness and luck to get through and it very likely won't pay off.
Not even worth dealing with it for people not clique'd up, imo.
If it happens organically then sure, but there are a lot better ways to spend the time.
@wolfmanbush thank you, that’s highly disappointing, I was looking to increase my obsidian collection and seeing announcement of the holiday event really got my hopes up.
@starstrux99 the obsidian six pack is something that has been given out quite structurally over the past 6,5 years in very many shapes and sizes.
Also keep in mind that it is better to server hop regularly to find other ships, servers only contain a max of 6 crews/ships and if nobody on your server is leaving then you can be sailing on the same seas with the same crews for hours
