In my opinion this caused some confusion when cheating was considered the implementation of third party tools to the players advantage and explotation the improper usage of in-game elements.

New exploits are found everyday in SOT and very few are addressed, like the latest BB exploit, yet one of the oldest and most infamous exploits is still being used to unfair advantage...

I'm talking about server spiking through discord private parties. These groups form server "alliances" by spiking the server and allow their paying members to grind for days, undisturbed. In case a new ship makes it through to these servers, the crew is subjected to constant harrassment until they forfeit their ship or leave the server.

In my opinion this is explotation to a disciplinary level and requires attention from the devs. These so called "alliance servers" offer unfair advantage through a pay to win scheme that is perpetrated everyday, leaving empty servers for those that prefer to experience the game properly.
