When a player extends their arms with an item in hand, and another player with nothing willingly takes that item via the prompt; that should be recognized as an act of giving.

When two players both have items in hand, and both extend their arms, a different prompt shows up that allows them to trade their items; that should be recognized as an act of trade.

I'd like to see some items and treasures behave differently after these actions have been performed using them:

Some skulls, crates, and chests will significantly improve their value after being traded to their respective trading company.

The generous gift, after being accepted by a reaper, will transfer the emissary flag value of the donating ship to the gift. This will disincentivize the reaper from sinking that particular emissary as the flag will be worth 0.

Thanks!

I was just thinking about it and realized that either one or more person already has to hold their right mouse button already for this action to occur. That is probably why Rare has it currently the way it is. I'm fine with either way.
