Since season 2 I thought it would be a great idea to continue a trend of adding 1 song per season as a nod to the theme it held but maybe it's just not a good use of their development time.

I cannot count the number of times I have played this while sailing or doing something that already feels epic, as it amplifies it tenfold.

Although this is propably suggested all the time, since SoT has a collab with disney for Pirates of the Carribean, he's a pirate would make for the best Sea Shantie.

Most sea shanties themselves should be public domain. Specific musical arrangements would be copywritten, but most of them would be free to use, unless someone grabs something that actually isn't a classic sea shanty and uses it. (For example, Yo Ho a pirates life for me is not a classic sea shanty, and required permissions from the rights holder (disney) to use.
