I am hoping that when the guilds come we get guild voyages that take us outside the Sea of Thieves in man of war style ships that are manned by 2 captained crews that need to work together to use the Ancient coin laden man of war made special by the Sovereigns to venture outside the sea of thieves to defend it against attacking Grand Maritime Union.

The GMU has set up Forts all around the outskirts of the SoT.

The sovereigns reveal they all used to work for the GMU but have decided to side with the pirates of Port Merrick to help them venture Westward.

This would open up an entire new area the same size as the current ocean but West of New Golden Sands. Making the new Port the center of the theatre between the GMU area and the area controlled by us pirates.

Could even market it as like " Season 10 - The Journey West " .
