@captain-coel That’s part of the animal emote bundle. So think they just bought the bundle and maybe it’s named slightly different in their language so it translates different than on the wiki.

Yes, there is a (questionable) way and yes, it takes place on Asian servers.

@arch-ideall true, even with a 90% win rate they still have to consistently find a match, so no I still don't believe that getting the gold curse is possible within a month, also I've figured out how the exploit works and I will possibly discuss it in a bug report, I'm unsure about how it works entirely but I was able to convince someone to let me in on their "grind". They've told me that they have gotten the golden ghost curse in about a week of doing the exploit everyday. Before it even begins they were doing a lot of prep work, the entire server has to be in an alliance essentially. They were all speaking chinese so I didn't understand exactly what was going on but I have a general idea.

How long would it take me? I run away from PvP. I’ve beaten one kraken, one ghost sloop and I killed another player with my sword when he boarded my ship and dropped my anchor as I was leaving a port. I play between 1-3 hours 5 days per week on average, and started playing one week before season 8 dropped. Oh, and I sunk a ship in hourglass that was unmanned. 🤣
