<![CDATA[Need tips for Shore of Gold]]>

So I am on the final leg of my completionist run for the Golden Curse, with Shores of Gold being my last Tall Tale to round out. Today I finished Revenge of the Morning Star's commendations and took a crack at Shores of Gold. While I had beaten the Gold Hoarder and was on the edge of the waters to Galleon's Grave, golden-jawed skull in hand, I got Longbearded (second time this has occurred) and lost my prize. So, that being said, anyone know any tips or tricks that might speed up my next run? Still got to get four more skulls cashed in and to round out the journals. I know of the bringing a chest along for carrying the Medallion and using the low slope around the left side to climb up to the Compass chamber faster, but anything to speed up the inside with the traps would be appreciated.

Realized this morning that merely leaving with the skull from the main chamber counted towards the commendation, so after some tips from both the two of you, along with the use of a storage chest, I was finally able to round off the rest of my commendations. Thank you!

Bring a trident with you to face the Boss.
Its a challenge but that thing will speed up the fight.

Best solution: Start a Galleon. 4 players. (who all know what needs to be done) Yeah I know. Difficult task but it works.

Write down the solutions.
I literally have a page in a notebook with the trap solutions.

Rarethief.com had amazing guides including journals.

More of a curiosity than helpful, but you can do each trap over again instantly and get multiple medallions. They'll be there after you complete it (unless they ninja patched it), you can also take them with you back to Morrow's Peak. That's the worst part is you still have to sail back ☹
