@d3adst1ck I just confirmed. You can not vote on a tall tale till you go and cancel the one you are on.

It's the only voyage that uses a Tall Tale book instead of scroll maps, so the game must only be able to support the player having one book at a time. Rare just used that slot for this voyage and forgot to add proper checks I guess. There definitely should be a prompt if you try to vote up a TT and the book slot is already in use by this (and potentially future) voyages. It's a bigger problem if you are solo since the vote is immediate. I don't think you can instantly cancel a tall tale by voting for another one, can you?

Seems a fairly easy bug to miss if you play with a crew. I tried solo and can confirm this issue is real.

I did it twice last night :(
-firstly when selling to the Mysterious Stranger, I accidentally hit x on the shroud breaker tall tale book - Something that happens regularly tbh, because it’s right where you turn in.
-and secondly when at the Shipwright at Dagger Tooth, accidentally voting on “revenge of the morning star” tall tale when collecting supplies.

It’s instantaneously to vote on a tall tale. Blink and it’s done…
Is there anyway to stop tall tales disappearing my veil missions? (Though I am enjoying that people can’t shores of gold as easily).

Or give me a second to back up and cancel the vote…?

It’s a lesson learned for me (twice) but still feels like a solvable issue on Rare’s side.

So what's the problem here? You voted for a Tall Tale...why not vote it down then on the ship? It doesn't delete your voyage you've voted for...

@mostexpendable Very interesting. I am usually part of a crew so this never happened before, yet it is important that the devs know about this issue.

I didn’t know you could start a TT while you basically already have one active. This almost seems like it’s unintentional

@mostexpendable perhaps when another voyage is already there it should give you a pop up "this will cancel [name voyage]. Are you sure you want to replace it with [name new voyage]?"
